From the fuel-efficient 3.5L V6 engine to the high performance 6.1L SRT® HEMI® V8 engine, Chrysler 300C offers distinct capability and efficiency.

The new 5.7L VVT HEMI® V8 engine with Multi-Displacement System is engineered to provide high horsepower and high efficiency, meaning you get the power you expect and the fuel savings you need. The engine pairs with the Multi-Displacement System to shut off four of the eight cylinders when they’re not needed, helping you save even more fuel.

If the “normal” 5.7L HEMI is not enough, then consider the 6.1L HEMI of the 300C SRT8. Featuring 318 kWs and 569 Nm of power and torque respectively, this is the highest output for its size of any naturally aspirated V8 engine ever offered by the Chrysler Group.

The SRT engineers achieved the increased power by adding more cubic capacity, increasing the compression ratio, and redesigning the cylinder head as well as intake and exhaust systems for better flow and increased engine speed. They were also mindful of the engine's heritage, which led to adopting traditional HEMI engine cues including an orange-painted cylinder block and black valve covers.
